What a great turnout to help get things set up for the Field Day!

... Gordon used the groomer tractor to push snow around to cover the sliding hill.  There'll be sliding, but it doesn't look too promising for the snowmobile games.

 

Louanne, Sally, Linda, and Janice appear very focused.

Wonder what the hot topic of discussion is?

"Uh, Dad, that's S-t-i-c-k-n-e-y.!"

         

A few people did the Poler Run on snowmobiles,

but on this day most opted for the Poker Walk ...

... while others chose the Poker Stand!

Wait a minute, Ron .... Bob's got something wrong here!

There ... Bruce has got it right!

The young and the not so young had lots of fun on the castle slides.

 

Gee, Chris, do you think you'll fit?

Another popular activity was the groomer rides.  Thank you Fern, Gordon,

Gene, and Robbie for all those trips up and down the hillside!

 

Once again, thanks to Diane, there were bubbles and balloons for the children!

And Goodie Bags too!

Ivan's bonfire was a welcome source of warmth throughout the day.

Oh, Oh!  It looks like this guy is seriously considering giving snowboarding a try!

The Second Annual Rumford Polar Bears Family Field Day

was a wonderful time for fun, food, family, and friends!

 

       

  

  

 

  

   

 

With many helping hands, everything was quickly taken care of.

Everyone is gone, the castle quietly remains to slowly melt away with the spring rains..

But the Polar Bears will be back next year, in some shape or form,
